This is a collection of some of my favourite photos taken during my world travels, weekend adventures and early days working as a reporter/photographer for a weekly newspaper in southern Alberta.

Beautiful Greenland

Greenland is one of those places that definitely has a wow factor. In August 2014 I spent five days exploring the area around the town of Ilulissat and witnessed the most spectacular scenery I have ever seen. Click here to view my photo gallery of beautiful Greenland.

Mysterious Myanmar

Myanmar is a place I knew very little about until I watched a documentary on the country and thought it would be a unique place to travel. I was right.  The country has been cut off from the rest of the world for several years and only recently opened its doors to tourists. Iceland

Iceland is a country I kind of stumbled upon by accident. My plan was to go to Greenland, but in order to get to Greenland, you either have to fly from Nunavut, Canada or Iceland. So I chose Iceland, and decided to add an extra week onto my Greenland adventure to explore Iceland's Westfjords - one of the most remote regions of this time country of around 300,000 people. The Canadian Rockies

There are few places on the planet that rival the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. Even after all of my worldly travels, I am still wowed every time I visit the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada, and feel fortunate to only live a few hours away from these gorgeous gems. Kenya, Uganda & Rwanda

Hanging out in the jungle with wild gorillas in Rwanda was the main attraction when I booked my trip to East Africa in May 2014, and it was the experience of a life time as far as wildlife viewing goes. From hippos and elephants to giraffes and rhinos, the abundance of other unique wildlife throughout Kenya and Uganda did not disappoint Click here to view my photos from nearly three weeks of camping in East Africa.
