I caught the travel bug during my first trip overseas to England when I was 20 years old and I've been hooked ever since that magical journey back in time. It ignited a spark in me I never knew I had and opened my eyes to the wonders beyond Canadian borders. I suddenly wanted to travel the world and experience cultures completely foreign to me. That spark has never died. ​ Since that trip, I have travelled to more than a dozen countries, including Ireland, Wales, Italy, Germany, Jamaica, Cuba, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Jordan and Myanmar, along with several major cities throughout the United States. But it wasn't until my three-week trip through Vietnam in 2012 that I felt the urge to share my travel stories through my writing. Here is some of my published work.
